Meet Rick LoBello
Real Estate Agent with a mission

The world is full of Real Estate Agents,
in El Paso alone there are over 2000.

One Real Estate Agent in El Paso, stands out among all the rest, because of the way he lives his life with a greater purpose, working to promote sustainable development and the protection of our Earth.

Meet Rick LoBello.   Rick has been working to protect our parks and endangered wildlife for over 36 years.  Six years ago he founded ILoveParks.com, a news and information web site helping people to connect with parks around the world.  In helping to gain financial support for numerous conservation projects, Rick helps homeowners and homebuyers across the country.

No matter where you live Rick can refer you to other agents from almost anywhere in the United States and Canada.  All you have to do is give him a call or drop him an e-mail.  And when you do, you'll have the satisfaction in knowing that your business is doing more than helping you with your needs, you'll also be helping to preserve our Earth.  That's what Rick is all about, a Real Estate Agent who cares about people and the world we share.

More About Rick

Some of the projects I am currently taking the lead on during my free time include:

1. Rwanda's first public library project in cooperation with the Kigali Rotary Club and the West El Paso Rotary Foundation. A friend of mine donated over 300 coffee mugs to use in helping to raise funds to complete the library.

2. Development of www.iloveparks.com where I focus on encouraging people to connect with parks and take action on both conservation and humanitarian projects.

3. Using my network and information I post on www.iloveparks.com I am working to support Senator Brownback and others who are helping to end the violence in the Congo that has killed over 4 million people over the past 10 years (more than the number of people killed during World War II). This violence is also hurting many endangered species in the country's rainforests, most notably CRITICALLY endangered mountain gorillas (less than 700 survive in the world today).

4. I am working with Rotary Districts 5520 and 4110 (Mexico) in helping to establish a US/Mexico International Park in the Big Bend National Park region of West Texas and northern Mexico.

5. I plan to publish a book promoting ecotourism at Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda later this year. I have been working on this project for over 2 ½ years as a volunteer.

6. I am helping the Franklin Mountains Wilderness Coalition in an effort to protect important habitat in the Castner Range area with the ultimate goal of adding the land to Franklin Mountains State Park.
