Some of the conservation projects Rick is currently working on include:

--development of www.iloveparks.com where he focuses on encouraging people to connect with parks and take action on both conservation and humanitarian projects.

--working with a network of over 500 people in helping to establish a US/Mexico International Park in the Big Bend National Park region of West Texas and northern Mexico.

-- helping the Franklin Mountains Wilderness Coalition in an effort to protect important habitat in the Castner Range area with the ultimate goal of adding the land to Franklin Mountains State Park.
